A clear framework for working together.

Cargo Survey connects maritime professionals and organizations. Here is how accounts, introductions and collaboration workspaces operate.

Individually or as a team

A personal workspace and organization workspaces with suitable roles.

An introduction you choose

A response or invitation does not, by itself, constitute a mission agreement.

A shared record

Conversations, dates, deliverables and reviews remain linked to the collaboration.

01. Cargo Survey’s role

The platform lets members present profiles, offer services, post missions, express interest, invite specialists and follow collaborations. Members agree the scope, schedule, price and terms of their work with each other.

Cargo Survey records members’ actions. It does not inspect or certify their work. Response rankings and feed suggestions support discovery; they are not guaranteed professional recommendations.

02. Accounts and workspaces

Team roles determine available actions. Active workspace access is required for certain features, including posting, responding and chat. Personal and organization workspaces have separate memberships.

  • Use accurate identity and professional information, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your personal credentials confidential. Each team member should have their own account.
  • Act for an organization only when you are authorized to represent it.
  • Check the active workspace and recipient before posting, responding or sharing.

03. Missions, responses and invitations

A mission should describe a real need, location or work mode, period and expected result. The poster reviews responses and can invite specialists.

Expressing interest, saving a mission or shortlisting a response does not award the work. An accepted introduction opens a conversation; the parties must still confirm the terms of their collaboration.

Response ordering considers mission criteria and profiles. Price does not change rank. Each party remains responsible for checking skills, insurance, site access and requirements for the work.

04. Attendance and deliverables

The conversation brings together messages, proposed dates, confirmations and work updates. A proposed date should not be treated as confirmed until it is accepted.

Deliverables let members share a result and keep its versions. A file receipt records receipt in the tool; it does not replace contractual acceptance or technical approval.

Site safety requirements, professional responsibilities, insurance and commercial commitments must be agreed between the parties.

05. Posts and documents

Sent files may be viewed or downloaded by authorized recipients. Deleting a post does not retrieve copies already downloaded.

  • Only publish content you are entitled to share.
  • Respect the confidentiality of clients, vessels and people in your photos.
  • Do not add fraudulent, discriminatory, abusive or professionally irrelevant content.
  • Check permission before naming a client or presenting joint work.
  • Use available reporting tools when you encounter problematic content or behavior.

06. Qualifications and reviews

A document marked “Verified” has undergone a check of the evidence provided. This status does not guarantee the quality of future work or authorization for every type of attendance.

A post-mission review should reflect a real collaboration and remain factual. Distinguish the public text, which may appear on a profile once published, from private feedback intended for the other party. Do not publish confidential information in a review.

07. Access and membership

Workspace access information is shown in Membership. Before making any payment, check the workspace, amount, duration and terms displayed to you.

Final pricing and billing terms are not announced on this page. This information does not promise mission payments, escrow or a payment guarantee between members.

08. Data and account controls

The Privacy page explains profile visibility, private exchanges, documents and account controls. Data export and an account deletion request are available in settings.

A deletion request is reviewed. It does not immediately erase the histories shared between collaborating workspaces.

09. Questions and updates

The contact centre presents the actions currently available in your account and frequently asked questions. Official publisher and support details will be added once confirmed.

The update date appears at the top of the page. Legal provisions, applicable law and commercial terms must be validated by the publisher before final terms are published.
